Any standup riders?

Any standup riders out there? My wife and I just spent the weekend looking around the Greenville SC area. We are thinking of moving there from North Mississippi, so we went by some of the bike shops but they didn’t have any standup skis and didn’t know much about what they did have. We drove out the Lake Keowee to check it out. It looked like every inch of shore line had a house on it. We have found that out of sight out of mind works best when it comes to jetskis. We would rather not bother the fishermen, rangers, or the homeowners. I would love to talk to some standup riders to find out where they like to ride.

Re: Any standup riders?

Woodsrider, I live in the Greenville area also and have been riding stand-ups on Lake Keowee and Hartwell since 1988. Keowee is an awsome lake to ride. Beautiful scenery. Yes there are alot of houses now and more being built everyday but it is still a great lake to ride. next time you make it back here let me know and I'll show you around the lake.

Re: Any standup riders?

Thanks CrossCR, I’m going to send you a PM with several questions. If there are any other stand up riders out there let me know. My wife and I were talking about it this morning and I think we are going to make the move.

Brrr, the water was fine but the air was a bit chilly.
Heading back out to Hartwell on Wed.

Did you get your stand up this weekend?
What ski are you getting?

Isn't Charlotte an hour down the road? My bro's live between Lake Lure and Lake Adger(NO SKIS ALLOWED!!!) and they go to Lake Norman or Lake George. Just a thought.

Re: Any standup riders?

We look forward to meeting you guys. We will sign the offer letter this week and will be in an appt until we are able to find a house so it may be a while until I can get my skis there.
