Any good spots to ride on the coast?

I live in charlotte and would not object to toting my B1 to the SC coast somewhere but i dont know if there are any good wave spots.

I live in Midland, NC. (just outside charlotte) Last summer I spent a lot of time in the inlet between Ocean Isle and Holdan Beach. A place where the ocean meets the inner coastal waterway. I'm not sure how it compares to other places, but It was very nice. When the tide is coming in, we saw some pretty nice waves. If you put in the waterway at ocean isle there is a gas station on the water right beside you. Then its like a nice mile to mile and a half ride down the waterway to the waves. Got some nice air last summer out there on my 96 XP.
