Pulling Hydro motor

Does anyone have a step by step way of doing it?

Maybe some hints and tricks on doing it as well? Thanks

Re: Pulling Hydro motor

little stickers with numbers for the harness, I don't remove the oil tank, it comes out with the motor, bascially the whole intake system and then you can kinda turn the motor to the side a little and get it out with the oil tank, the oil cooler will hold you up if you donot cut the gigantic zip ties that hold it in, the best thing to have is one of those little electronic winches with the buttons so you can tap the buttons a little at a time to ease the motor out or in

first thing is to remove the oil, unplug the harness and kinda zip tie it like a pony tail up, then the intake system and battery and battery box, cut the zip ties on the oil cooler, remove the 4 motor mount screws and it sready to start coming up

Re: Pulling Hydro motor

Follow Momars instructions and tape around the top of the top deck so when you get mad and things do not go right you will not chip your paint and call DZ he'll be over to help pull it out...why are you taking it out?Dad

Re: Pulling Hydro motor

Alright motor is out.

Couple of questions

1 the drain bolt is that liek in the front of the "oil pan" little allen head bolt?

2 what does everyone use around the oil cooler to protect it? How do you zip tie the oil cooler back in?

Thats it for now

Thanks
