PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Our sponsons deliver a significant improvement over the stock sponsons through superior blade and backing plate design. Sponson blades are secured to the backing plates via our bulletproof mounting system. Rather than use fender washers that can bend or break we provide billet inserts that are pressed into sponson fins. The backing plate is precision machined from billet aluminum to be as light as possible while maintaining strength and then anodized to prevent corrosion. Sponson depth is adjustable to control the amount of influence they have on the craft. Easy installation requires no drilling.

Those are by far the most expensive sponsons I have ever seen for a recreational boat..
I hope they don’t lift the tail and push the nose down anymore than it is now?

Yes, the price is higher than sponsons we've offered previously. However, there is a lot more material for the backing plate, the price of which has gone up significantly in the past year, and there is a tremendous amount of machining involved (see detail shot) to make them as light as possible without sacrificing strength. Our Pro-Series Sponsons are intended for both recreational and competitive use. The Ultra's are pretty large and heavy. We felt than anything less than what we designed would not hold up to the stress they will be subjected to.

I can assure you they do not lift the tail pushing the nose down.

What kind of improvement are you talking about over the stock ones? Has there been any testing with results that you can make us aware of. Is there any top end gain with yours?

No loss of speed what-so-ever. We tested these extensively going as far as flying the head tuner and top rider (French National Endurance Champion JB Baptiste) from Team JFC over to evaluate them. Their design (shape, angle, adjustability, etc) allow you to lean into the turns more aggressively enabling you to maintain/carry more speed through tight corners in rough conditions. This will actually improve top speed overall as you are not forced to slow down to make tighter turns or when riding in rough conditions.

Thanks for the reply. Myself and a lot of other guys are hoping for something to get the nose of this thing out of the water some so as to pick up top end speed. I will not be doing any course racing, but I am looking for some flat out top end speed. Again thanks for the reply
