| 800 SXR questions and Hello I'm new
Im new to signing up but I've ben reading the forum for a few months and there is some great information you all give.
I have a 2004 800 SXR and I'm ready for more performance. I had blowsion do some work to my pump and put in a skat trak 13/18 and I also have the intake, ride plate 4 degree bars and foot holes and I need more power for flat water tricks.
I just ordered a wet pipe and should have it the first of March and I ordered V force reeds and I'm going to have my local shop tune it and put in th jets since I'm at 2300 foot level and the jets that come with the pipe will not work.
My question is should I have my head milled? I heard higher the elevation the less compression you have? I don't want to spend $500 on a head because I will not have any interest in changing cones and running race fuel I just want a little more compression and still run pump gas.
Does anyone have any suggestions on the milling of the head?
