| Re: lake huron moogie, the lake michigan side is better more often than huron purely on wind direction. most of it comes from the southwest or west in summer, and that in turn pushes up some good waves, especially when storm fronts blow through. winds out of the west on huron blow waves to canada, LOL i'm not saying you couldn't get some good waves there, but my edumacated guess is that lake michigan can produce better summer waves. east winds that preceed storm fronts might be your best bet for breaking stuff on lake huron. peace... john in grand haven, mi ....coast guard city, USA |
