| Re: Anyone ride on Orchard Lake or Nearby? Ironic,
I was telling a buddy we should setup some buoys sometime soon. Why is it a violation to setup buoys?
I can't say I've had back luck on that Orchard Lake. I've seen the DNR out there a couple times, mainly sundays, and memorial day weekend. I got stopped when the ski was new and didn't have reg numbers on it yet, but other than that no issues. They didn't bother to check documentation or anything. I said it's a new ski, I took boater safety, have a fire extinguisher, and am just riding, and the guy just left me be.
The only hassle I get is couch riders, especially younger guys on say a new Yamaha FX SHO or whatever that seem to find standups really interesting and like to ride along and try to race, and then turn and get in the way.
