Thanks Juniors

I want to thank all the Juniors that competed in this year's 2005 SkatTrak World Finals. It was the best racing of the week. David Redinger was fantastic! All the 10-13 year old racers, you give me hope and I look forward to the day you all turn Pro! Thanks again for showing the grown ups what jetski racing is really all about.
Your #1 fan,
Nedra

Ya know Meagan & I were stuck in the booth all day & didn't get to see much of any racing -- BUT when it was time for the Jr's we literally fought over who would get to go watch & who would have to man the booth!

It was so exciting!!! So promising! They all looked great!! & How bout Kiefer King! Ironically enought his grandmother was dance teacher as a child & I have known his family for years -- now here is & I do believe (i could be wrong) he was the fastest American in his class & took 5th overall!!!

Our boy Luke ran the 10-12 yo class. He is 10 and was the youngest in the field and the first ever Australian junior to race the worlds.

Nedra...you may recall giving him a body beach sticker when we were training mid week.

He placed 6 th behind Kiefer in the first moto and had a big get off in the 2nd and lost quite a few places. He did however secure the no 10 plate.

We are immensely proud of him and in awe at what these kids can do given the opportunity.

The course marshalls were awesome with the kids and as a parent i felt supremely confident that our kid was in good hands.

We meet kids and their families from all around the world. We will be back.

Thanks also to the announcers who constantly made a big deal of the jnrs and made them and their families feel like an important part of the worlds.

The announcers were just telling it like it is - the juniors ARE a big deal. They're the future of our sport, and were integral to the success of World Finals this year, and in years to come. Nice job Kids - YOU ROCKED!

Iceman800,

We were parked next to you at new Body beach part of the week. Your young son did a great job and we all cheered him on during the race. It was great to meet you folks and hope you have continued success.
We were only able to squeeze a ninth place finish but it was our first time and we learned so much. Perhaps next year I will have Andrew's ski's running better.
