Re: stand up or sit down

Whats better?! LOL you dont want to open that can of worms! Stand-ups will take alot more work to learn as opposed to a sitdown anyone can get on and go for the most part. There are lots of tricks that can be done on either but the standups really more the trick machine. Really ride one or 2 of each and then see what you like. But put the effort into it too dont go try and ride a standup for 5 mins then give up lol

Re: stand up or sit down

Don't be lazy, ride a stand-up.

Stand-ups are a sport.

Sit-downs are a scaled down boat.

Both are PWC but can't be farther apart.

Re: stand up or sit down

I have both - The sit-down is great for speed and touring and taking people for a ride. The stand-up is more challenging and rewarding - what a great work-out it is!! If I could only have one it would be a stand-up but I'm glad I don't have to choose!!!

Re: stand up or sit down

I have both too. The standup gets ridden 4-5 days a week, the sitdown I have to remove the cover every month to see if it is still there....

Re: stand up or sit down

stnad-ups are better, hands down. Sit-downs are only fun for a couple of hours. (You can only do so many doughnuts.) You can progress on a stand-up, so you'll never get bored.

On a stand up you can do fountains, tailstands, barrel-rolls, bulldogs, backflips, etc.

On a sit-down you can ride in circles, go from point A to point B, then go back to A.

Get a stand-up, you won't regret it.

Plus stand-ups use ALOT less gas!!!!!

Re: stand up or sit down

Go with find a nice, well kept, Wavejammer, then, you can have a taste of both worlds. I can nose stab, bunny hop, tail stand, ect.. The only thing you must do to the jammer is get a stainless impeller to get rid of cavatation, it comes stock with aluminum. I ride my jammer more than I do my '01 Xpl. The jammer is one of the funnest ski known to mankind, I even take it off shore to the oil rigs!! I want to build an older stand up, but cant part with the jammer.

_______________
WE JAMMIN!! and I hope you like jammin too!!
