New carbs dont count unless they are a bigger thant he orginals.

I'd strongly suggest some Sponsons...they make a huge diffrence in turning. REally makes the boat turn.

UMI steering is nice and gets rid eof *** looking handle bars and cover.

Intake grate are nice

a pipe....a pipe will amke a HUGE diffrence in power

a new impeller for more bottom end for jumping waves or one for top end for going fast....

any of those are good.....whats your price limit?

I can actually do some nice motox stuff off cruiser wakes ....the x4 hull is actually a fun ski to play with..as long as you havent ridden a stand up first....rode it the other day..fun then got boring.

I also have a 96XP. If you just want to mess around, I would sell it and get a standup. If you plan on racing CC, I would mod the 96XP and race.

First mod would be F/A's with rejetted carbs. Then sponsons, prop, grate, and so on.

I learn day by day. I am no genius...yet. There are a few people on here that know a lot more about Sea-Doos than I do.

My ski does rock though.

That XP would rock harder if it had a pipe!!

I would say sponsons, intake grate, and prop, along with a pipe and head would be the way to go with the xp. With these mods that ski just flat out hauls *** and turns on time. Im talkin muscle just to hold on. Im not an xp man by no means, but have ridin a couple of race ready xps. I just hate stock skis cause they are slow, and unexciting, so if you have the money go hard, or go home.

But the ideal way to go is all day on the stand-up. A stand-up is the only thing worthy of being called a jet ski- its the pure sport.
