| Re: i'm training 1. Ride as often and as long as you can.
2. Ride in the worst conditions you can find/handle (don't get yourself in trouble, but do challenge yourself).
3. For cardio, I suggest long, slow cardio. You don't have to do crazy on the intensity, but since the Hahn is such a long race you'll want to emphasize long bouts of cardio.
4. Recommend doing cardio that works the whole body as often as you can. These would be things like the rowing machine, the versa climber, swimming, elliptical trainer machines that use the arms (some have "poles" that can work the upper body...some do not).
5. A total body strength training workout a few times a week will help as well. |
