| Re: Lake winnepesaukee? I think you need to define what type of riding you like to do, to get the best help on where to ride.
Many of the campgrounds that have non-seasonal transient spots are on secondary/smaller "ponds". Rather than big lakes.
The big lakes that might have spots for you to take a look at are Ossipee, Winnisquam, Sebago (Maine).
As to ocean, take a look up near Old Orchard Beach in Maine. There is one campground in NH just south of Portsmouth.
You might do better to go to campground message boards, and ask about small boat beaching/mooring. As you might gather, not to many people are able to tow both the camper and the boat. So the sites that favor this type of recreation are heavily seasonal.
Also, look over at the Upstate NY string here on pwctoday. They are hosting a camping/pwc weekend this spring. I haven't lloked at it. But, I would guess that the campground selected would be perfect for you.
If you go to Winni, be prepared to no be able to use the pwc all the time. If you have a big cruiser, you might be a little better off. But, you will probably have to stay close to the campground most of the time. Put it this way. I have a lake house 15 minutes away from Wolfboro, which has a free ramp. Last time I used it, I still had my Yami XLT (sold three season ago). |
