Going to the Northeastern PWC Rally/Freeride?

Hi:

I’m a Pocono Mountain (PA) Newbie, and I was wondering was anyone going to the 2009 AWA/AJC Northeast PWC Rally/Freeride on June 13, 2009 from my area? Anyone going from Northeastern PA or Northwestern NJ?

Hi Jefferz, sounds great. Where will you be leaving from? Would it be best for me to meet up at some point along the way? And when are you guys planning on leaving? I was hoping to go up that Friday on June 12th; how does that work for you guys?

we live like right near 287 probably going to shoot up the ny state thruway. im not sure what day were going up, but most likely friday evening also since two of my friends have houses up on the lake

Hi Jefferz, I'm not sure which road is the NY thruway? MapQuest has me taking 380 N to 81 N which takes me up thru NY State. Are you going to hit 81 N at any point?

no...... 81 north cant be bringing you directly to the lake.

i google map it and this is the way it told me to take from your town of tobyhanna.

Take the ramp onto I-380 N 20.2 mi
3. Merge onto I-81 N Entering New York 57.3 mi
4. Take exit 4N-S toward Hillcrest 0.7 mi
5. Merge onto NY-7 E 8.8 mi
6. Continue on I-88 E 92.8 mi
7. Take exit 23 for NY-30A toward NY-7/NY-30/Schoharie 0.4 mi
8. Turn right at NY-30A/State Route 30A (signs for Schoharie) 0.8 mi
9. Turn left toward NY-30/State Route 30 82 ft
10. Turn left at NY-30/State Route 30 Continue to follow NY-3 0 28.9 mi
11. Turn left to stay on NY-30

no problem and possibly depends on leaving times we may leave real late on friday but were not sure

Sounds good, we'll just play it by ear until we are closer to the date and know are leaving times better. I'm not big on driving late at night so I might get an early start that Friday, but just playing it by ear for now.

yea, between everyone working different hours some of us in college some of us not its just alot easier to leave at night also alot faster
