Anyone Hitting Up Beltzville This Friday, Saturday or Sunday???

I will probably be at Blue Marsh Sunday. Used to go to Beltzville but most of the rangers are complete idiots there.

Not as bad as Beltzville. I personally like Beltzville because it is easier for me to get to but I enjoy the larger launch area's with beach access at Blue Marsh.

Can you guys fill me in on Beltzville? I have a place just outside of JT and may be staying there from time to time to ride at Beltzville.

I have all my papers, and I am "legal", so what will I get hassled with?

i've been to beltzville a bunch of times and i have never even been talked to by a ranger. in fact i've only ever actually seen one ranger there. but i have heard that they are turds to everyone.

I used to take my ski's every weekend to beltzville for over 15 years. I stopped going about 3 years ago and relocated to blue marsh. I still take my boat on saturday's and will stay as far away from the beach as possible.

Honestly I really dont think the rangers are out of control. If you doing something wrong they are gonna harass ya. Its their job.

The problem I have with them is once you get caught doing something wrong they treat you like you just committed a felony. No matter how minor your infraction.

My biggest problem is the riff raff at the beach area. If you are like me and want to anchor/beach your skis and go to shore to relax, expect to keep an eye on your stuff. Before you know it the riff raff will think your skis are their personal jungle gym.

Overall nice place, boating area not as crowed as Blue marsh, Rif raf's are out of control..Once you do something wrong, look out the rangers will be all over ya!
