I've just been informed that sadly the 5 year old lost his fight to stay alive.

Ride safely people, especially if you have someone onboard who's depending on your actions to be responsible ones.

I'm in no way passing judgement and saying that this person wasn't riding responsively, until the investigations are completed it's only speculation on my part. After all it "could" have been a mechanical error unfortunately I'm surmising that it wasn't.
