Her nickname is 'Action' Jackson. But maybe sports presenter Charlotte Jackson should be renamed Traction.

The television presenter was left bandaged and bruised -and not for the first time - after narrowly escaping serious injury in a jet-skiing accident.
Accident prone Charlotte, 28, has racked up an impressive number of injuries during her lifetime.
She has broken her metatarsal playing football, her leg skiing, her arm (twice) horse riding, her fingers playing lacrosse. And, when she was just two years old, she broke her collar bone.

And now she can add a broken nose to the list.

The pretty presenter has yet to see what her face looks like after having her nose-reset
She laughed: 'My nose was one bone in my body I hadn't broken!'
The attractive presenter, who works for cable channel Setanta, was jet-skiing in Dubai Marina when the wake of another boat unsteadied her jet-ski causing it to hit the water hard.

Charlotte, who was visiting her TV producer boyfriend Chris Welsby in Dubai, lost her footing, smacking her face into the handlebars and her jaw on the side of the seat.
The accident resulted in a broken nose and badly bruised jaw and body.

Swollen and sore, the presenter spent the night in hospital in Jumeirah where she had her nose re-set and stitches inside her mouth.

Accident prone: It is the latest in a long line of injuries for the Setanta presenter
For the remainder of her holiday Charlotte was forced to drink through a straw and eat soup. She said: 'I thought it would be a great diet , but as soon as I could eat "proper" food, I did - and kept eating constantly!

'It obviously ruined the holiday - and when I did venture out - I got some funny looks. In the end I didn't want to go out during daylight hours in case I scared the kids!'
She added: “I was really worried how I would look when all the swelling went down!”
