Re: R/c airplanes

I used to fly RC. Flew pattern and fun fly. Had a Magic Fun Fly and it was a blast. I loved hovering it over the runway tapping the tail feathers before taking it up to do torque rolls. I sold my last pattern plane a few years ago and got completely out. Was MUCH more expensive than skis.

Only flew full size pattern with YS engines. Had one practice plane and two competition planes. If I wasn't flying pattern would play with fun flies and combat planes. We had about ten of us pattern guys that would do combat with fun flies. That was a blast but could get really expensive. We were supposed to go for the ribbon but usually went for tail feathers. lol

Re: R/c airplanes

I know it's not an airplane, but I've got 2 Nitro 1/10th scale r/c trucks and an electric 1/10th scale r/c truck. Got a BMX ramp a few weeks ago, and I hit the ramp with one of my nitro's at 50mph, and the truck flew 30ft forward, and went about 6 feet high (brother was standing next to the ramp, it went over his head).
