Happy Father's Day!

From staff, friends, colleagues and myself, sending out to all your fathers, you as a father, a new father, a father who has passed on, and even to the 'all families' a very safe, fun filled and honorable day reflecting on the values and love our father's have brought into our lives. Remember the bad with the good, we can learn from our mistakes or those of others (even our own dads) to inspire us to become better fathers, friends, and also invest in our communities with children who need support and mentorship who do not have the presence of a father in their lives. There are many ways to be thankful every single day, and in respect to a day of fatherhood and all the values that come with the responsbility of raising, teaching, sharing and learning from our children..Happy Fathers Day!

Re: Happy Father's Day!

Thank you. I had a great day. For the first time in years the immediate and extended family spent the day together, without fighting.

Re: Happy Father's Day!

We (My wife and 3 kids) played on the Lake all afternoon, We rode both the XLT800s for about 30 miles,,,Pulled them on the tube and knee board,,everthing was nice... Even had a nice gentleman wish me a happy fathers day in the restaraunt where we were eating lunch.. He later came back up to me and said he mistakenley thought i was one of his buddies. So we introduced ourselves to each other and families and wished each other a Happy Fathers Day.. I think that topped it off...Thanks to my wife, 2 daughters and my son for a great day...

Re: Happy Father's Day!

What a horrible Father’s day I had. Are you ready for this story? This story is the beginning of a problem that owners of pwc with removable coolers may face one day. Well I got my pwc ready to go out on the lake today for the first time this season, (a long eight month wait) knowing I had to add more time to make sure my ski was extra clean and dry top to bottom because of the issue with the Quagga/Zebra Mussels and the inspection at the lake. http://www.dfg.ca.gov/invasives/quaggamussel/
I arrived at the lake and paid the $6 dollar parking fee, $6 launch fee and $7 inspection fee. (which I did not get back ). Then proceeded to uncover ect. ect. and then went to the inspection area. The inspector had me open up everything and remove loose items. Good thing for the truck bed. He asked me to take out my under the rear seat cooler. Which had ice and bottled water in it. He looked down near the bilge and battery area and proceeded to the front and looked around the motor then looked at the front dry storage area. Then he went to the back again . He told me sorry you can not go on the water today your pwc is for 5 days. I ask him why. He told me because there was water near my bilge pump. I told him
no way why didn’t you say something before you looked around to the other areas , no response back from him. Ready for this one it was the condensation from the ice dripping down. It just didn’t cross my mind when I put the ice in it. So he didn’t want to let me on the lake. Even when I showed him the cooler. What a racket and a long ride home with the $4.50 a gallon these days. Well learn from my unfortunate day and drive safe this summer... Sorry so long just frustrated about this....... Time&Money&Wasted Gas Even Worse no Fun on the Water..............

Got to be with MY Dad. 3 generations cruising in the street rod together. Doesn't get much better than that!
