Winter riding pics

Some more pics of winter riding.
It was about 25 degrees today, with the water at maybe 33.

Things started icing over pretty quickly. That was cool at first, then dangerous.
My throttle cable froze WOT a few times.
On top of that, I noticed that the kill switch was also frozen and staying up even without the lanyard.
Then Mike tore his drysuit bootie and we decided to call it a day.
Fun riding, though.

Yes, that's ice on my tour coat, helmet, and ski.

Re: Winter riding pics

It really was pretty comfortable. I would have liked to continue riding for another hour, but the frozen throttle cable + frozen kill switch made for very dangerous conditions.

Re: Winter riding pics

2mm restrictor on each outgoing line.
The cooling water at my hands is at least 100 degrees. No worries about a cold seize.

Re: Winter riding pics

Great ride matt. Drysuit repaired. Throttle repaired. Ready to ride again. That 33 water seeping into the suit wasn't to fun.
