Sport Class GP's.

Just thought I'd show off some of our team's Sport Class GP skis. Let me know what you think! We raced out Blaster 1 and XiR half way through our Region 2 DJSA series, and our sponsored riders took 3rd overall on the Blaster1100 and 5th overall on the XiR1100 in the Sport Class. The WB2 was recently built, and will be debuting itself this season! The WB2 belongs to one of our team riders. We recently picked up another XiR hull and are planning on making another XiR1100 for the team. We don't have any actual confirmed speeds on any of the skis, other then they are really fast!

The ski's were built by Northern California's finest jet ski shop, www.theskiclinic.com

Pictures 1&2:
Yamaha Wave Blaster. Yamaha 1100cc motor. Was originally straight exhaust, no water box. But the ski was so loud, we had to add a water box. Still loud, but not as obnoxious. Lots of motor mounting fabrication to get the motor fit and positioned right.
Pictures 3&4:
Yamaha Wave Blaster 2. Yamaha 1200cc motor. Latest build. Not too much info on it other than it's fast!
Pictures 5&6:
Kawasaki XiR. Kawasaki 1100cc motor. Real fun ski. Fast and it hooks hard in the turns at fast speeds. Fastest of the three. Some cutting and fiber glassing for the mounts, and the side of the hull had to be bulged to get the pipe to fit.

Pictures 8&9:
Couple of action shots.

Thanks! They really are great machines! Tons of fun, and you don't have to worry about them breaking down, since the motors are stock!

Re: Sport Class GP's.

They all look sweet. I bet that XIR is fun, that ski handles awesome, the only problem was it was too slow on the track. But with a 1100 motor, I bet she is sweet.

Re: Sport Class GP's.

Tell a little more about the 1100 B1. What carbs, stock or milled head, cdi, anything else done to it? Also what pump are you running in it & what prop? I have one that has complete stock motor, but have a few things to add but have been dealing with the pump & prop trying to get the best out of it as it is first. Any info would help.

Scottie, the XiR seems to be the team favorite! Everyone's saying that it's the funnest of the 3, but I prefer the B1 more. The XiR is still a really fun, and FAST ski!

Re: Sport Class GP's.

It is funny, the two skis that I always thought the manufacturers missed out are the B2 1200 and the XIR with a bigger motor. LOL You guys have both. Great work.

Re: Sport Class GP's.

Nice skis, really like the b1 color.

Just curious, are you still running a 144mm pump in the b1 1100 ? or did you go for a 155 ?

I've got a b1 1100 too and debating the move to a 155 pump or not. It's pretty much max out on the 144 with the tbm cone...

Thank you.
