upgraded pole spring
Beef it hull braces

Let me know what you guys think and if anyone is in the upper bucks area and wants to ride sometime hit me up. I ride in riegelsville all the time.

Not bad..In my opinion you need to do something with the exhaust..it is making your engine compartment look trashy.

Re: New Member With A Newly Finished 550 Conversion Build
hey looking good johnny. I helped him with this build. The westcoast exhaust was one i had laying around the shop and i told him to put it on the other day instead of the puny little stocker he had on it. It's gonna get ripped off this winter and powder coated the same lime green that everything else is in the engine. and the turf looks pretty good in person,. it was free so no ones complaining. we built this ski out of spare parts i had laying around the shop. the only money that was really spent on it was for the powdercoating which was done back when this motor was in my x2, it had a matching lime green westcoast pipe at the time but since then i had sold the exhaust. Not a bad ski for being basically free besides paint and powdercoat. oh yea i think he bought a primer kit for the dual carbs too. so less then 100 bucks for the whole ski. Its good to have spare parts haha.

So the spare parts must have been free when you got them for it to only be $100 for the whole ski. Haha

Re: New Member With A Newly Finished 550 Conversion Build
I am doing a 650 conversion as well, how is that 17deg impeller work for you?? any cavitation at top end?? I have been looking around and everyone has 18.5-19 deg in there conversions. just wondering how it is working out for you??

Re: New Member With A Newly Finished 550 Conversion Build
we have yet to be able to test it. we took it out for its amiden voyage and it had an exhaust leak. Thats when i told him to put the westcoast pipe on it. we just got back today from a long weekend up the mountains and will be testing it this week. hopefully tomorrow evening when i get done work. we'll let you know how it works out!
