I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
One of the cool things that I really like about Vintage is that the ski can "be" so many different things, and still be really cool regardless of what it is.
It can have bone-stock graphics, and basically be a fairly stock ski, and really represent the era of what stock race skis were back then.
It can have bone-stock graphics, yet be a really strong limited, superstock or or even a mod ski - thus representing what the skis looked like in the era, while performing and sounding like skis of today (and surprising a few of your competitors, at least in the first moto of the day

).
It can have custom paint and graphics, whatever motor set-up, and just be a really cool yet timeless and fresh-looking machine.
Oh, and the best part is that the rules are the rules, year after year, with no need to change. So, you can build your Vintage race ski, build it ONCE, and just race the hell out of it. No worries about sticking a bunch of time, money, and effort into a ski, just to have to turn around and sell it cheap the next season because some new model came out that you now need to be competitive. Anyhow, good luck with the rest of your Vintage build, and don't forget to always respect your ski - since it's older than you
