So...wasn't the new server supposed to be faster?

It isn't...not for me, anyways. And it's getting worse.

It is much quicker for me, and the site does not bogg down as much as it used to.

I was just coming in here to ask the same thing.

Still the same for me. I hope that upgrade wasn't too much of a PITA because it didn't seem to help too much.

The server load is now consistantly lower now at peak times. The main reason for this most recent move was because our provider pulled servers out of the network operation center we had moved to (about 9-10 months ago?). The fact of it being a newer server was just a bonus for putting up with the move. I hoped it would speed up a little more, but I also experience slow load times every now and then. As soon as they're done moving the other servers, they're going to look into some tuning for us. Right now its a pretty basic set up..

I dont know about speed, but that stalling half way through a page business is gone. I dont think Ive had to reload once since the upgrade.

If the web site starts to slow down, close all your connections and then re-open the web site.

My connection works pretty fast at times.
