Private Messaging

Ok...Listen up...Everyone knows we have the option to read your pm's. I don't have the desire or really care what you all are talking about. Due to the software we can't turn off the option. I know you guys probably don't believe it but, oh well. If what you are writing is for your eyes only and your worried about the pm's security then don't use it. Like someone else previously said pick up a phone or email it.

Re: Private Messaging

other than "security info" should we be worried about being "canned" for PMing about another site or even dogging one of your products?

Just so we all know what to expect!

Re: Private Messaging

I'm not worried. If you read private messages then they aren't private are they? Just glad someone admitted they have the ability to read "PRIVATE MESSAGES" that were not intended for them!

Re: Private Messaging

Your boss can read your "private" emails at work and the adminstrator of this forum can read PM's. Nothing new here in my opinion. PM just means its not posted on the board.

Re: Private Messaging

My boss couldn't teach a monkey to scratch his own ***, let alone read my email!

Actually - and for the record - Mods/Super Mods such as myself do not have the ability to read PM's here. I myself woudn't do this even if I did have the ability/access.

I did check this out when the initial acusations surfaced, and discovered only the Admin has this ability...and she's given her word this will not be an issue, so we should be good to go.
