New Server up Tomorrow

The new server will be turned on tomorrow (7/8/08) at 8:00 am eastern time. This might cause some connection issues for a few hours. If all goes well, we should be faster than ever by tomorrow afternoon and can start turning back on some features.

Unfortunately, it seems a week (about July 1 to this morning) of pictures was lost during the move to the new server. We moved all the PWCToday files on July 1 and started testing the server. We then went live this morning and change files were uploaded to bring the forum database current. For some reason, the pic change file got lost in the shuffle. Our IT guys have ideas on how to bring it back, but for now the pics are dead. If you would like, you can repost the pics now in the thread and they will show, or you can wait until tomorrow and see if we figure out how to bring back the lost pics.

when trying to do a search I get this:

We know about the problem. We're working on it. Try changing your search around some. We have found some searches work OK and others not. If you search for a common word like hull, it crashes. If you search for something less common it works. Hopefully we'll get that problem fixed shortly.

The good news is the pics issue is resolved.
