Harry Klemm & His New Section

SBT is pleased to announce that Harry Klemm of Group K will continue supporting PWCToday. Mr. Klemm has been an active poster on PWCToday for several years and has played a key role in the success of the site. His technical articles on www.GroupK.com are highly regarded and a must read for anyone wanting to better understand engine performance. In fact, I have personally read all of them and our technical department refers back to them often. Mr. Klemm has built boats that have won both national and international titles and his technical expertise here on PWCToday is a real asset. As recognition for his support, PWCToday had devoted an entire section of Pro Help to Group K.

Two years ago I sent him the head from my SJ to be milled (in late March). He told me turn around time was 4-5 business days. Three weeks later I called and talked to him personally and he told me that it was done and it had already been shipped. Two weeks later I get a call from him again asking for my credit card info again, he wrote it down wrong, and it would not go through. He lied the previous time when he told me it had been shipped. It was after the long weekend in May when I finally got the head back (without an apology). I will never get any work done there again, and I have talked several friends out of doing business with him.

i've used them a couple of times over the years and always very pleased.

granted you had a confirmed time. that really ticks me off and keeps me from going back. but i guess if i had a nickel for every time a shop lied to me about work in early spring, i'd be drunk right now.

BTW - SBT thanks for giving them a real forum. Harry's long scrolling page after page thread is one big jumbled mess if info.
