Removing coil from eBox?

I can't for the life of me figure out how!

The wires seem to be attatched to the coil, ok fine, but I can't get them to pull through the plastic caps that waterproof the wires...

Should I just pull the 90* boot of the other end to pull the cables through?

I should add, when I said "coil" above I'm referring to the CDI unit as a whole...

I just had to do this I actually, used WD-40 and just worked the wires out of the tiny plug, be careful obviously or might just pull the wire off then you are kind of screwed. You can just take the plug caps off, which you probably already did, they just screw back on then zip tie it back when finished. Yeah I had a guy I bought a ski from and he drowned it in water and thought the ebox was sealed.......he was wrong.

Ummm, the CDI box has no spark plug boots on it, that would be the coil.lol The CDI box simply unplugs from inside the ebox.

Re: Removing coil from eBox?

I wanted to call it the coil at first, then I saw on the side it says CD Ignition, so I thought I was being more specific

Yes, I'm wondering how to remove the part with the spark plug wires..

Anyone know if pass-throughs the spark plug and other wires go through to get in the box are available? All of mine are broken :\

Why don't take a picture of what parts you are refering to. I have some extra ebox parts due to a little overzealous purchasing.

Re: Removing coil from eBox?

Wondering if you ever got this completed? I'm having the same issue with my 750sx..trying to get the spark plug wires out of the ebox and don't know if I should remove the spark plug caps and pull them towards the ebox or if they will disconnect at the cd ignition? Seems awfully tight and I don't want to damage anything...anyone?

The double male ended white pieces are broke on mine as well, the I got them for a couple of bucks at the local kawasaki dealer, item # 59071-3001.
