Does anyone know if the timing advance plate from a kawasaki 750sx will fit a 1997 tigershark 770 motor? If so is it the 92-93 one or is it the 94 and up one?

I am pretty sure it is the 94' up one since they use almost the same ignition systems. Be carefull not to burn a piston if you use one. Should be fine with a stock head but not a shaved one or Black Magic race head.

You need to wory about pre-ignition and excess heat with the adv plate.

do the 640 ignition and the 770 ignition system the same? I found a timing plate for a 640 and want to know if it will fit the 770?

Yes the stator mounting is the same.
