tigershark daytona 1000 1997

Hi all, one of the only things that bugs me about my tigershark daytona 1000 triple 1997 is the fact that it is always a balancing act to get on and cant just sit and relax on it sometimes. I have come to terms with this until I saw a pic of a guy relaxing just floating around legs up on his tigershark daytona same as mine. Question I have is. How the hell did he manage to make his more stable when still?? They are a weapon when moving and manoveurability is fantastic but sometimes just want to chill out and enjoy what little sun we get.
Can anyone help with this puzzling problem of mine please??

LOL. Maybe your right!! Is a shame though as this is the only problem I have with it after rebuilding the engine and getting rid of the oil injection system, trying to go twos up with a dribbly with my balance is crazy but hell it is a laugh for both me and spectators. lol!

Re: tigershark daytona 1000 1997

The 1st time ,I tried for my wife and I to get on the 96 montego @ the marina ,we went in the drink ,We could not get out!! The floating concrete dock was much higher than sea level.and had fellow boaters next slip pull us out,It was funny for me, but my wife did not think so,I had to sell it and get a 98 TSL770 3 seater (Dry stable ride trademark) It's true.I can stand on one side getting on it and it does not hardly list.and you don't get wet unless you want to.the stern stay's up out of the water. Re: tigershark daytona 1000 1997

If there is free space in the hull you can fill it with the "window & door" great stuff foam. The "window & door" does not exspand as much. It is used in packing I think even from SBT.
More foam higher the ride and more stable it will be at rest.
If you do this USE gloves and spare the foam, lil go's a long way. Make it look clean, fill black garbage bags tucked in place so the foam is not sticking to the hull. Its more like a form fit styrofoam block this way.
