R-770 flush kit help

Hi Guys
Very new to all this just bought a tiger shark R-770 (1998), I have found a lot of great info and help using PWC Today. This might seem quite a simple question but can any one tell me where you connect the flush kit or have a diagram of one fitted, I am going to buy a kit with instructions but would like to know beforehand.
Cheers

Re: R-770 flush kit help

it will screw on to the fitting on the left side of the boat, just under the rub rail.

Re: R-770 flush kit help

You can make a flush kit easily yourself,If I remember the rite size ,get a 1/2 " Male IPS x Female Hose thread fitting and any hose thread ball valve They sell at any hardware store.connect to the port side ,water disharge outlet Thats It !! (It's basically a Backwash) The ballvalve is close to the ski,so if it stalls you can shut off water Quickly

Always have ski running 1ST Never turn on water unless engine is running !!Shut water 1st then engine!!!

Re: R-770 flush kit help

yes, it runs H2O backward so you'll be flushing out the cooling system.

Re: R-770 flush kit help

Thanks Guys
I made a flush kit for about £2.99 and flushed it out got some oily grease hopefully this will improve as it has been laying for over a year and don’t know if it was ever done before that, I will give it another few flushes.
Cheers

Re: R-770 flush kit help

Normal to get that oil from the exhaust when running on the hose.
