Need help with 770 cylinder removal

I worked 7Hrs breaking down top end,I can't get cylinder off,I took off all 5 bolts and the bottom nut above starter is backed off as much as possible ,till I raise cylinder/Jugs to remove it.the PTO end is loose but the front is still tight,Have you had to do anything special to get jugs off,
The cylinders are perfect no scoring,I'm just getting a single .50 piston kit and top end gasket kit also ,carbs are off to rebuild.
I hit w/ rubber mallet ,(no Go ) the studs are now soaking in W-D40
Any ideas would be appreciated !!
