| Exhaust question
My 94 Montego has the little rubber cup like deal covering the exhaust, so that it blows down instead of straight out the back. The rubber cover is torn and ripped so it will not stay bolted in place. Can I just remove this or is there a reason for it?
I know on the Kawasaki 900 ZXI they say not to remove the flap as it keeps water from rushing in when you stop or slow down and that it is needed due to the design of the exhaust system.
