? 97 1000 daytona wearing skirts badly? Any clue

Rebuilt crank, re nicked one cyl, honed the other 2 and put in 3 new weisco's at about 4.5 clearence. broke in, ran about 4 tanks of gas, runs 60 gps, piston wash looks good, motor rattled badly . took apart, 1 piston had both skirts worn right down and was small in the bore. another piston worn, but not as bad. And yes, the pwc uses quite a bit of oil. figured it was the weisco's. re honed bores, now put in 3 new wsm cast pistons like oe sukuki. took a little longer, but yup, at idle ratteling again. took apart again, one piston scuffed and worn badly, like .015 clearence, another worn maybee .008 thousands, and proably the cyl I re nicked, looked perfect. .04.5 clearence and like before nice wash on top. Anyone else have a 1000 that eats skirts with proper bore clearence????? gillystvv@yahoo.com

Crank might be thrown out of adjustment. Might want to get it trued and welded.
