2 stroke oil

Hi…. Here’s another query I have this time about the two stroke oil, As I use an Oregon 50:1 semi synthetic, low smoke and low ash oil specially formulated for high performance engines at my work to run horticultural equipment e.g. chainsaws hedge trimmers and lawnmowers. I was wondering if I could use this or does it have to be marine oil for pollution purposes etc.
Thanks Again ….
Ps sill can’t wait to get this into some water sill a lot to read and learn first.

Amsoil is by far the best.

Re: 2 stroke oil

You could more then likely use this and not have any problems but I would go with a good brand marine two stroke oil to be on the safe side.

Re: 2 stroke oil

I use Amsoil interceptor in the 1999 TS 640 and 1996 Polaris xlt touring and 1996 Polaris 440 sport 2up snowmobiles and Amsoil Saber in the Chainsaw, gas blower and Weed eater. I still have 150psi of compression in each cylinder on the Tigershark and the Xlt touring snowmobile has over 6000 miles on it and it has lots of power yet. I have had great luck with Amsoil products and would recommend them to anyone.

Re: 2 stroke oil

I would use a oil that is designed for water cooled engines that meets at least aTCW-III rating.

I will avoid my oil and play safe with the marine oils.
