1997 Tigershark Daytona 1000 cranking slowly

Hi guys-
I've got a 1997 Tigershark Daytona 1000 that ran just before I winterized it a few weeks ago. Now I'm trying to sell it and went to start it and it only cranks VERY slowly. This happens on the battery and even when connected to a battery charger in the engine start mode. It still turns so it's not locked up. I pulled plugs and cranked it and it seemed to turn faster, but when I put the plugs back in it barely turns over. It sounds like it's not getting enough power but there should be plenty from the battery charger. Could it be the starter going out?
Thanks,
Dax

Even with it connected to a battery charger it still may be the battery like LR said.

Like Dank said, it still may be the battery. If your battery is shot, your charger will not be able to get enough "power" into it. The charger will give you the voltage, but the battery still needs the capacity to hold power which gives you the amperage that your starter needs. How old is your battery? If it is more than a couple years old, then itis a good bet that may be you issue. Don't forget to check your connections and condition of your cables too, I have seen that act the same way by limiting your power to the starter.
