Routine mantinence on pump?

I just droped my ski off at the dealer to get a valve inspection/adjustment, and I asked about repacking pump bearings ,and they said the only time they pull the pump is to replace bearings if needed.

They said just continue using it if i dont have any problems.
Ski has around 222 hours.
What do yall think?

Re: Routine mantinence on pump?

Oh geeze, Im limited to where I can take it as everyone already knows.
Its at a dealer 60 miles away.
But yeah the ski ,and pump work as good as day one.
Havent had any probs with the pump.
Hopfully all the valves are in spec.

1brokeazzhonda, so bascailly you think Im on borrowed time?

I guess its time to learn and service the pump myself!

Re: Routine mantinence on pump?

there is a great write up on here on how to service the pump yourself. A service manual is a wise investment.. can usually get a cd on ebay for 10bux or so.
