| Re: rebates/bonus bucks Make sure you have your financing lined up. GE Money and HAFC have really tightened up requirements. GE has all but cut off lending. Most Credit Unions will do the deed. Some treat them as secured others as a personal loan. Rates are higher for the personal loans of course. Banks are not interested as well and most financing companies. Since skis are not a necessity and hard to repo, most places wont deal with them. If you’re a cash buyer you should be in a better predicament. Also hard to nail down the cost the dealer pays, and work up from that point. It’s not like a car where the internet spells it all out. When I bought mine everyone had a different price. The prices varied widely. The MSRP is the starting point for most places then the fee’s are packed on top of that. Also most dealers that sell them are Powerhouse shops. Where I bought, not a drop of water for a 100 miles. Honda’s great marketing, not!! I have three shops that are between me and shop I bought at. They will not work on them nor order parts. I do everything over the phone or internet from Other Powerhouse shops. Don’t get me wrong I love my Honda’s and they are great, I also have 3 Honda bikes and they all run fantastic.
