R-12x

I'm looking into getting a PWC and have decided on a Honda R-12x. Any opinions on this model. I found a new 06 at a local shop but, they want to charge me around $1,400 more (freight, setup, admin fee, tax, tag and title) from the list price out the door. Is this normal? I have own and worked on hondas for about a decade now, so maintenance would not be a problem. Also, looking for a low profile trailer in the area. Any help is appreciated.

i paid 9k out the door with a trailer for an 07 f12x. that was with 6% sales tax in MD and tax, tags, title on all. if that helps at all.

$7400 out the door with trailer is a good price. I would also try and get them to throw in a cover. Make sure to get some CRC 6-56 and you will be good to go. If you are ridding in salt water get a flush kit and makes it easier to flush. The Atlantis flush kits are the best but they are about $50. I would just pay the $50 and never have to worry about it.

Re: R-12x

Sounds little high to me. Honda has all types of Dealer Cash on older models. Offer them $5K just for the boat and see what happens

Re: R-12x

I just picked up am '05 with 13 hours on it (so no warranty, no trailer, and also no tax) for 4500. Im also on the verge of buying an '07 F12x for 6500 or a F12x GPS for 7000 (this is without tax or trailer..just includes dealer fee's)

May be different in FL but I have heard and found in my searching that the Rs are much less popular than the Fs, so I would think you could get a better deal on one.
