Low Budjet performance mods.

Been searching the forums and was thinking about some cheap mods. I want to get Mac boost pump wedge and then Mod my intake grate. The modified intake should help if there is a little chop. ( Am I correct ? )

Removing some of the bars from the intake will let you have a better holeshot with less cavitation and allow you to get your hand inside to remove weeds/debris.

Re: Low Budjet performance mods.

grates just slow you down. Keep it stock. The MACSBOOST wedge and module are a potent combo. You are on the right track there.

I read somewhere on the green hulk site that our intake inlet is too big and if we made it smaller we would do better. I guess you get drag cause of the big intake.....acts as a scoop. So woulden't cutting bars defeat the purpose? I seen the bottoms of all the other skis and none of them have a big intake tunnel like ours theres are more narrow.

Also they said our ride plate is flat and needs skegs welded in......if you notice on the R&D grate they have a skegs on it.

Re: Low Budjet performance mods.

Get some documentation of performance gains from people using that method of thinking. I don't agree.
