How much more for the F12x than F12? Worth it?

I am torn. Buy a new 2007 F12 or the turbo? $5999.00 quoted for the F12. How much more for the Turbo and is it worth it? 60 year old, have a 95 Doo XP. Like to cruise, pull skiers and tubes. Pros and cons please. Tomorrow the decision day.

The non turbo is a great ski no doubt about it. If you can get the turbo model for another 1500 go ahead and get it. Its like buying the camaro ss with the 8 cylinder verse the 6 cyl which is no slouch these days. When you go to sell it you will get the money backon the turbo model. I have had both models and still love the turbo ! If your watching your monthly paymaent and want a great reliable ski then the non turbo is perfect. Both skis are really great for the money but the turbo has some punch !

well IMO, id rather have more then enough, then not have enough. You can have the power and not use it all....if you go with the non turbo theres really nothing you can do to make it as fast as the turbo model. just my .02

The only thing diffrent between the non turbo and the turbo engine is a Balance shaft, the internals are the same but the crank cases are diffrent. The non turbo does not have provisions for the balance shaft in its crank case

Bought the turbo, candy orange with the step and a cover. It is being set up now. Appreciate the feedback.

Re: How much more for the F12x than F12? Worth it?

From honda:
Unique F12X Features:
# Forged pistons and connecting rods are designed to withstand the rigors of turbocharging. The top piston-ring land is anodized, and a chrome-plated top ring further enhances durability.
# Unique gear-driven dual engine-balancer system virtually eliminates high-frequency engine vibration.

Broke, are you saying they are not unique to the turbo engine? That would be good to know that the n/a is forged instead of cast. No need for it, but still a nice touch.
