Honda 06 ARX1200 T3, Turbo psi ?

I need to know how much the max. psi the stock turbo runs at. I cannot locate a stock wastegate so I want to add an external one to it. I would send off my turbo but shipping from the Marshall Islands is not cheap and the ski is still working. The wastegate is so rusted it will fail soon. Or if anyone knows where I could get a wastegate, that would be awesome. The turbo is an IHI RHF5 and I have not found anyone on the net that could help me, other than sending the whole unit.

Post a good picture of your rusted area and post it up.......If I read your post right you will need a wastegate actuator......

Kwaj ! dude! and you have a ski there!?! are you with the forest service? air force? I lived on Wake Island as a teenager...PM me your email and I'll get you back in business for cheap. Or email me at dav_dman@yahoo.com

I dont see any easy way to do external on this set up so if you have a drawing or plans let me know those as well.

Broke, I have Kwaj taken care of, no worries, brah, we islanders stick together!

Now if you'd put that baby down and start working on getting the rest of us some gates that would be great !

If you have them ready to go then I would much rather you sell one of YOURS to kwaj then I give up one of my precious stash!

This is AWESOME news from you guys and congrats to Broke on his baby. They are a lot of work and take away your ski time.
Dave it is a small world and it is too bad that Wake is not up and running anymore. I will email you and talk to you about Kwaj.
Yea the actuator is my problem and if you could help me with that me and my buddy would be doing flips. A new OE turbo goes for too much.

Charlie you have an internal wastegate in the exhaust turbine housing and it's moved by a wastegate actuator mounted on the outside of the turbine housing. The signal for the actuator comes from the waste gate solenoid (wgs) and that will be your next problem area.

I have a spare used actuator I can sell you but only if Broke doesn't have his spankin' new units for sale yet. No one else bother to email me, I'm not selling my used one to anyone but a marshall islander. It's in the middle of fkn nowhere and hard to get milk and bread, much less a ski part. But I loved it and miss the hell out it.

Broke pls tell us you got those ready for sale?

Glad to hear that an ex islander will help out. One day, if I ever leave, I will also help out a brother in need. And you are right Dave, it has been hard to get milk and bread here lately. We get fresh produce on Tue and we have to rush down to the store and grab what we can before it is all gone.
So you say the turbo waste-gate solenoid is also a problem. I will order a spare. I did check it and it is working. I also found a piece of carbon in the turbo sensor (map sensor). The orifice is very small, it should have a filter on it, I may do that. Last year we had a bad main relay and replace it.
I am working on my paypal account as we speak. Keep me posted.
