anyone have a good compressor wheel off of a bad turbo?
I have a few chips on the compressor wheel (the one in the turbo, not the turbine wheel in the exh housing) and would be willing to buy a good wheel and see if I can swap it out.

This is on a spare scrap turbo I'm trying to rebuild so not a big deal but it would be fun if i could get one.

Dave,
If you do find one that is not damaged, be sure and send it off to be balanced. If you don't, it will snap off the very thin shaft on the compressor side due to the 150K RPM that the little turbo turns. I learned the hard way.

He is a great guy. Keep after him to come up with a drop-in kit to replace our turbos.

He has no way to balance a IHI ball bearing turbo....we talked about my project!
