Any tips my first ski

Hey there every one. Have just bought my first ski, 04 f12x
Have had the macboost chip installed by the dealer I bought it from. It goes like a scolded cat. Have noticed that the 215 seadoos leave me behind in any form of choppy water. Can someone help me. Is this ski design as they have more of a vee shaped hull than the honda, and they are heavier or is it rider skill?? what is your experiences?
Just to qualify this I ride in the oceanwith the other skis.

Dude that saying is "OLD" and lame, and only one uses that saying...... and we put him on ignore! Why don't you try to contribute to the conversation, buy giving some rider advise or your expierances skiing, rather then say somthing stupid thats old and played, it just makes you look stupid, like the person who came up with that saying.

For dependability and gas (ride time) I think Honda is the best you can get. But for stock speed it's lacking pace with the others. Broke is right on with his adv. The macs boost stage II with the pump wedge helps me keep up with some of the other brands. I have it on my 04R12x. Some will gripe about the speed, me included, but I love to ride all day so I guess the trade off is worth it to me. Good luck with your ride.
