SLT 700 Polaris

I just picked up a 700 SLT Polaris. It has not been run in two years. What is the best way to go about cleaning the fluids out and replacing with new ones? What all should I do before even attempt starting this ski? I know I will have to drain gas for sure, but I am not sure how to go about this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: SLT 700 Polaris

Does it crank over, if not pull the spark plugs and turn the engine by hand - remove the drive shaft guard and turn the shaft, it should be free moving if so then start by doing these steps.
Drain the Fuel tank first, use a fresh battery and check each cyl for good compression using a good guage, 140 psi is ideal but depending on the guage it may vary. Check to see that you have good spark then remove and check the carbs and rebuild them if there in need of it.
These are basic steps to insure it will run properly.
Good Luck

I just bought a Polaris PWC - what should I do?
What to do to get it running, keep it running, and avoid potential damage
