Polaris SL900

Hi everyone,

Newbie from Australia!

I have just purchased my first pwc, a 97 SL900. I settled on this model as it was one owner with 78 hours run time but he hasn't run it for 3 years. Compression across 3 cylinders from 135-140psi so I believe the engine has plenty of life in her. Whilst i am new to pwc I am mechanically minded so will be changing plugs, filters, draining old fuel/oil replenishing with new etc etc. If anyone has any good tips for servicing a ski sitting around for a long time would love to hear it. I look forward to contributing to this group as I gain experience on these machines.

cheers
