octane parts?

hi guys,

dumb question here, are any of the octane parts still readily available/compatible with other polaris engines?

i know polaris don't make ski's any more, but i'm going to get rid of my sack or crap kawi and buy something else, want to avoid the usual SJ route if i can, and the octane looks like its a good option!

i'm just worried about reliability & if i can get parts when i need them?

cheers

john

Re: octane parts?

Re: octane parts?

Randy is good to deal with. I just go to my local polaris dealer a decent amount too. Haven't had any problems getting parts.

Re: octane parts?

Yes, great ski I'm sorry I sold mine, the octane is best in rough water and turning is not as sharp as the Kawi, but the octane hooks up like no other stock ski and very easy to balance.

Re: octane parts?

"Watcon will be making some major changes !!

Polaris Industries has cancelled my dealer agreement, and I will no
longer be stocking / selling Polaris OEM parts.... This is a maor hit for me financially, as Polaris parts sales account for approx 70% of my business revenue. I am foced to expand in other directions to keep my business intact, and will not has as much time available for the "free" technical support I have provided since 1995.

I still have parts inventory, so please check on the "unusual" parts, as I might have them available"

I hate to hear that, but there are still a few places here in the states to get parts.
I have been using www.partsland.com to get what i need for my sl 750's.

Hope this info can help!!
