ignition glitch

96 SL900 Red motor Machine ran fine 4months ago. Tried to start and found rear cyl no spark. Got started and at low rpm no spark but at higher rpm the cyl kiks in ,Is the ststor on it's way out or the coil pak on way out, new plugs My luck if I run it it will die in the middle of the lake.

If it still has the original ignition system in it, then it is quite possible that the CDI and/or stator are failing.

Polaris issued an Ignition System Update Kit, which is much more reliable than the original parts.
