97 sltx 1050 Static Timing

I have the new update.
Can someone illustrate the exact way to perform static timing on this thing?

Re: 97 sltx 1050 Static Timing

i would but it requires a dial indicator and lots of patience, plus having the correct measurement.my 1200 required something quite different than what the factory service manual called for and a 1050 crank has a different stroke and would be different than the specs i'd give you.you can also hack a stator cover up to hold the bendix in place and dribble 2 stroke down the carb throats fire it up check it then readjust if neccessary, then redribble some more oil and recheck.
