| 2002 Polaris Virage i in need of fuel pump
Hello there fellow PWC'ers: Was wondering if anyone out there might know of a good used fuel pump for an otherwise great shape direct injection 800cc Virage i. I was told new pumps go for $500 (ouch), and had no luck with the used parts dealers. I just want to get this thing running again so I can put it up for sale in running cond. I'm located in Orlando FL and would appreciate any help.
BTW, I would consider an offer of $1995 in its present condition incl. trailer. (100 hrs)

What is wrong with the existing fuel pump?
Is it running, but low fuel pressure?
That can be repaired; How to repair a Ficht fuel pump - pressure regulator has fallen inside Symptoms include very low fuel pressure, rough running above idle, engine surging, and lack of power above idle.
Red light and 'Check Engine' message typically appear on the display. | |

The existing pump got badly gummed up from sitting for 2+ years and will not run at all. This is according to my mechanic who has rebuilt them in the past but says this one is too far gone. He specializes in pwc repair so I trust what he is saying. The pump is already apart and waiting for a replacement. Thanks. Jim. | |

well, I offered the fuel pump that I just payed $335 from my dealer for $275. It's brand new except for being installed and removed .
