Kawasaki Jet Mate seat question

Has anyone with a jet mate changed the front (single) seat out with an aftermarket seat? I'm not sure it if is easily done but since my front seat is damaged I was just wondering if anyone has done it.

Re: Kawasaki Jet Mate seat question

When I had my Jetmate, it didn't have the stock seat. The previous owner just screwed a seat bottom to the engine cover.

I replaced it with a nice fishing seat - it didn't have the recline capability, but it worked fine.

Re: Kawasaki Jet Mate seat question

Thanks....I just got mine a couple of weeks ago and really haven't had much time to really check everything out "up close" because it keeps raining on my off days so I have kept it covered. I really appreciate the information.
